Short answers. If yours is not here, ask in Discord.
The scan stops at 80 % and then seems to do nothing for a long time. Why?
The bar covers the map sweep. When it reaches the end, the sweep is done — but Sphere is not: it now fetches the details for every player (power, kills, shield). That second part has no percentage, and it is the slower one.
How long does a scan take?
About 4 to 5 minutes for a full server, depending on the server size.
Can I play while it scans?
No. A scan logs in to the server with your account, and the server ends the game session when the same account logs in twice — you would be kicked out. Close Last War first; Sphere refuses to scan while a game window is open.
Do I have to scan again every day?
No. Reload snapshot re-reads the last scan in seconds. Scan again only when you want fresh numbers.
The table is empty after a scan.
Two usual causes: the game was still running (see above), or this server has never been set up. Click Add server once per server, while the game runs and you are logged in on it.
Why do some player names show as empty boxes?
A Windows font is missing. Sphere draws its own interface, but names use Windows fonts — for some scripts (for example Mongolian) the system needs a font that is not installed on every PC.
Why does Sphere need administrator rights?
Two things only work with them, and both are rules of Windows: starting Last War for you, and moving the camera inside the running game. Windows only lets one program control another program's window when it runs with at least the same rights as that program — and the game runs with administrator rights.
Sphere does not start at all when I decline.
That is intended. Without those rights the game cannot be started and the camera jump cannot work, so the tool has nothing useful to do.
A scan does not need them — can I run Sphere without?
A scan on its own would not need them, but Sphere as a whole does, because starting the game and moving the camera are part of it.
Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” when I start Sphere.
That is SmartScreen, not a virus warning: the file comes from the internet and is not signed. Click More info → Run anyway. Better still: before you extract the ZIP, right-click the ZIP, choose Properties, tick Unblock — then you only do it once instead of once per file.
My antivirus reports something.
Please tell us in Discord instead of simply deleting it; it is a false alarm and we need the report to have it corrected.
Why is my licence bound to one PC?
One licence, one PC — that is the product decision. The binding is created on first activation and cannot be moved by yourself; contact us if you change hardware.
I have a new PC. What now?
Contact us in Discord. Do not simply enter the code on the second PC — the activation limit is checked per licence.
Does Sphere work without the game installed?
The interface does. You can load and read a snapshot without the game. For a scan the game must be installed and closed; for the camera jump it must be running.
What does “Game not linked” mean?
Sphere has not found the game window. Only the camera jump needs it — start Last War and it should switch to “Game linked” on its own.
The shield time column keeps counting down — is it live?
No. It is the remaining shield time at the moment of the last scan. A reload does not refresh it; only a new scan does.
Can I pass the table on?
Yes, there is an export. Please respect the privacy of the players in it.
How do I update Sphere?
Download the new file and replace the old one. Your licence stays: it is bound to the PC, not to the file.
Sphere says a newer version is available.
Then a new version is out. The notice appears again after a few days if you dismiss it — so it is not forgotten, but it also does not nag on every start.
